Fred Segal’s Summer Sale – 420 & 500 Broadway, Santa Monica10am - 7pm

The annual Fred Segal summer sale is taking place this weekend.  They have a wide array of select items priced at 50% off retail.  It may still break the bank, but at least the 50% off will take a bit of the sting off of it.

Saturday

LA Street Food Fest - Rose Bowl, Pasadena5 - 9pm

Close to 100 different street food vendors will converge at the Rose Bowl for the 4th annual LA Street Food Fest.  The admission is $50 but it includes all you can eat food samples and adult beverage tastings.  Invite your friends and get ready to spread out on the Rose Bowl field.  Get your tickets before you go.

Sunday

Shakespeare Festival – Griffith Park Old Zoo, 4730 Crystal Springs Drive, Los Angeles7pm 

The Independent Shakespeare Co kicks off it's summer Shakespeare festival with She Stoops to Conquer.  All performances are free though they will take your donations.   Bring a lawn chair and perhaps a light jacket (though we think it will be too hot for that this weekend.)
