SID: Superman Is Dead - Subliminal Projects, 1331 W. Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles Opening reception 8pm 

Shepard Fairey and photographer Dennis Morris have put together an exhibition about Sid Vicious titled SID: Superman Is Dead.  The exhibit, which opens tonight,  will feature paintings, prints and photos of Sid, as well as a life-size replica of the hotel room he destroyed back  in 1977.  Tonight's opening reception will also feature a punk rock all-star performance by Steve Jones, Billy Idol, Clem Burke and Leigh Gorman.

X103.9 Merry Meltdown 2 - Citizens Business Bank Arena, Ontario

If you are a fan of late '90s/early '00s rock, then grab your tickets for the X103.9 Merry Meltdown.  This year's holiday show features Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Korn, Sick Puppies, Big B and more.  Living Social has a deal right now for $29 floor tickets.
